Chapter Programs
Scouting has always been a fundamental part of Homenetmen. With rich traditions of Patriotism, Civic Duty, Responsibility and Leadership, our Homenetmen Scouts move on to become vital members of our Armenian Community and the world at large. We invite you to have your child take part in scouting - building skills and relationships through educationals, camping, community service and fun events. Join us to see what scouting is all about!
Our mission is to create an environment where our members feel they belong to a larger Armenian Community. Through Athletics, Scouting and Social events, we aim to instill values in our youth to appreciate their Armenian Heritage, learn leadership and teamwork, and foster a sense of their social responsibilities.
Our volunteers provide a variety of programs including:
Training bodies and minds, our Athletic programs teach our youth Confidence, Competence and Physical Discipline. Within a competitive environment, our youth enjoy the camaraderie of team sports as they build the skills and discipline that will carry forward their entire lives. Our teams compete in local leagues as well as against other teams in the Homenetmen Western Region. Join us on one of our Basketball or Soccer teams!
Homenetmen is a Home for parents, children, and everyone in between. We have a number of social events from Chapter Socials, Picnics, Dance Classes, and Party Facilities. Our Agoump (Social Hall) hosts a full-service Kitchen, Ping-Pong Room, Foosball, and Board Games. The Agoump is available for FREE to all our members to host their own events, or join in on our planned activities.
